Meet Doctor Neelam Studebaker

I decided to get into dentistry mostly because it started with my love for science. I always knew I loved science. I knew I loved the health care field.

As time went on, I started whittling down which health care option I really wanted to go into. Dentistry caught my eye when I shadowed one of my friend's moms. She's a dentist down in Bloomington, and I really enjoyed what she did, the way she got to spend time with her patients, interacted with them, and over time I just realized that dentistry was a perfect way for me to care for people in a way that I wanted to, but it also let me mix in the art and technology of the field as well.

So if you mix science, art, and technology, that is all the things that I love to do. And dentistry is just a field where I can have one-on-one time with my patients. Every patient's care is catered to them, and I get to be the one in charge to make sure that my patients are getting the care they want, that I can make a difference in their life from something as small as keeping them healthy to, you know, completely changing their smile and giving them a makeover.
